How has the internet changed the way you learn?

One huge way the internet has changed the way I learn is by the use of Google. If I have a question all I have to do is type it into Google and voila I will get some kind of answer. If it is not what I am looking for I can reword my question.

When conducting research for school, work, and now days shopping I can get more information to learn where the best deal is to buy what I am looking for. I have also learned that with the use of open sours intelligence (OSINT) you can find all kinds of information.

How has the internet changed the way you handle money?

The internet has changed the way I handle money through the use of online banking. I can go on my bank’s website and it will not only show me bank statements but it will explain how I spend my money and even point out ways I can save. I can go on my bank’s website and move money from one bank account to a completely different bank or move money around in my investment accounts.

How has the internet changed the way you shop?

I am able to compare prices and find better deals. If I do not want to leave the house I can order whatever it is I am looking for. The best thing about shopping online I can find stuff fast and do not have to go multiple stores to find something specific. I also can find things I would not think of because the options are there for me to find.

I can order things at any time of the day and have them delivered wherever I would like. All I need is some numbers off my card and there is the payment. Shopping online also makes it easier to spend more money for me.

How has the internet changed the way you eat?

The internet has changed the way I eat by ordering food with platforms like GrubHub or Amazon Fresh. I have used a couple of different apps for ordering food to pick up and to get delivered. It can come in handy if you are in the middle of cooking and need something but can’t leave. All you have to do place an order for what you need, the time it takes is normally quick. I usually get what I order in an hour.

If I am looking for a specific ingredient, I can look online for where it is available. That way I do not have to spend all my time driving around to multiple stores.

All About Me

Me in Afghanistan

I am a 10 year army, combat, veteran. I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) that make things difficult to function. I have a degree in Emergency and Disaster Management and I am still continuing my education. I have two boys one is five years old and the other is seven years old. My youngest son was diagnosed with leukemia last year and was in remission in three weeks. The most important thing to me is my kids.

I am still figuring out what I want to be when I grow up. After the Army I built cellphone towers, security, tow truck, factory work, and loss prevention. As of now I am using my GI Bill to go to school and pay my bills. I want to do something in counter-terrorism or somehow mitigate shootings in America.
